Manchester Lions Club: Serving the Community at the Cotton Fair
For more than 55 years, the Manchester Lions Club has been serving the community with dedication, heart, and good food. This fall, they’ll once again be a familiar presence at the Cotton Fair.
The Lions Club is known for its commitment to improving lives locally and globally. From vision screenings and eyeglass donations to supporting youth programs and community projects, their mission is simple: to serve. And at the Cotton Fair, one of their biggest fundraisers of the year, they do exactly that, one pizza slice at a time!
Visitors to the fair look forward to the Lions Club’s booth every year. What started with just pizza and sweet tea has now grown into a menu that draws a crowd. Guests can enjoy:
Baked Potatoes with All the Fixings
Country Ham Biscuits (just $5.00, made with the real deal country ham!)
Whole Pizzas or Pizza by the Slice (cheese and pepperoni options)
And of course, the pizza crust is a local favorite, people rave about it year after year.
Proceeds from the booth go directly back into the Manchester community, funding the Lions Club’s many service projects and charitable efforts. When you grab a biscuit or a slice of pizza, you’re helping support a group that has been a cornerstone of service in the area for over half a century.
So, when you visit the Cotton Fair this year, make sure to stop by the Manchester Lions Club booth. Come for the food, stay for the mission and help them continue serving our community for generations to come.
DONATE Your used eyewear! There will be an eyeglasses donation station at the booth!
