MT. Venus Baptist Church: Fried Chicken Excellence at the Cotton Fair!
Mt. Venus (Missionary) Baptist Church quietly makes a big impact on the community by providing community meals, and acts of giving. One of the ways the church shows up for its neighbors is by making and serving fried chicken at the Cotton Fair. The two day fair helps provide an avenue for Mt Venus to raise funds to help their ongoing community outreach.
Every Thanksgiving, the church opens its doors to the community to host The Annual Thanksgiving lunch. As a local church, Mt. Venus provides the usual roles of worship services, fellowship, pastoral care, and local support. You can find them online or at their website.
